Girls place fifth in post-season tourney
SIGOURNEY – The Montezuma girls’ golf season came to an end on Friday, May 9, after the sectional tournament on the tough Sigourney County Club layout.
The Bravettes shot a team score of 489, to place fifth out of eight full teams.
Izzy Roorda led the way for Montezuma, shooting a seventh-place individual score of 99 over 18 holes.
The rest of Bravettes scoring: 20, Claire Erselius, 116. 26, Kylee Larmore, 126 and 39, Karlee Knust, 148.
