Girls ‘scramble’ for wrestling wins

BROOKLYN – Taya Sincox, Coral Lowry and Taytin Chamberlin all won multiple matches, including several via falls, at the BGM Duals on Friday, Jan. 13.

The meet was done in the scramble format which is used to create matches when varying numbers of contestants per team makes brackets non-efficient.

The idea is to provide opportunities to wrestle for the girls late in the season.

Sincox, Lowry and Chamberlin are the Montezuma members of BGM’s girls team.

UP NEXT – The girls are now preparing for regional qualifier competition on Friday, Jan. 27.
