Girls show improvements in own tourney

Despite showing improvements in several statistical categories, the volleyball Bravettes dropped all three matches in their own tounament on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

The Bravettes managed to win one set each against Gladbrook-Reinbeck and HLV/Tri-County, but lost both sets against Williamsburg.

Montezuma showed improvement in serving, both in the percentage of successful serves, and in number of ace serves.

The Bravettes moved well defensively, reflected by strong totals in total digs.

Attacking was an area the Bravettes struggled with and will be working more on.

The night’s play left Montezuma with an overall record of 2-6 on the young season.
