BROOKLYN – They had to work through four sets to earn it, but the Montezuma Bravettes kept their record perfect in league play with a 3-1 win over BGM on Thursday, Sept. 25.
The Bravettes served and defended well, and played tough around the net.
Montezuma dug out 96 of BGM’s attacks, with Lauryn Larmore getting 27 of those.
Larmore was 22-for-22 serving with Annaleece Kercheval going 21-for-21 with two aces. Lily Ferry was 19-for-20 with two aces.
Montezuma advanced its overall record to 16-8, while BGM fell to 5-6.
