SIGOURNEY – Montezuma’s girls varsity cross country team got its first team win of the season on Tuesday evening, Sept. 6.
The girls were tops among three scoring teams.
Meanwhile, the boys placed third out of five scoring squads.
“It’s a tough course, but I’m excited we had the chance to see it now as preparation for the SICL meet at the end of the season,” said Montezuma Coach Kevin Gartman.
Montezuma’s runners packed well in both varsity races.
