WILLIAMSBURG – Montezuma’s varsity volleyball team managed one match victory in three attempts in the Montezuma Invitational on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
The tourney was moved to Williasmburg because work on the north gym in Montezuma is not complete.
The Bravettes were 2-0 winners over HLV.
Gladbrook-Reinbeck scored a 2-0 win over the Bravettes.
Montezuma scored a first set victory over Williamsburg, but the Raiders won the next two to take the match.
The day’s result left Montezuma with a 2-5 season mark.
