Monday’s (April 11)home golf meet against Keota and Tri-County brought more Montezuma success with Eddie Burgess shooting a 39 as meet medalist.
Keota’s Sawyer Stout earned runner-up medalist with a 41.
Montezuma’s Jack Erselius was close in the hunt with a 42 and Cruz De Jong and Carsten James both shot a 44. Team scores were:
Montezuma Varsity: 169, Keota: 175, Tri-County: 243, Montezuma JV: 204
On the girls side, due to the State FFA contest the girls did not have enough to field a team but put up individual scores of: Chloe Hutchcraft 53, Aislyn Hutchcraft 59 and Maddy Fleming 61.
