MONTEZUMA – Defense prevailed for Lynnville-Sully’s boys and girls basketball teams, as both won over Montezuma on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
The Hawkettes won the girls’ game, 52-46, building a 42-28 lead through three quarters, then weathering a Bravettes rally that saw them get as close as four points with 30 seconds left to play.
There was no frantic finish in the boys’ game, a solid 85-58 Lynnville-Sully win.
