Heat doesn’t stop Montezuma runners

MINGO – The heat didn’t appear to have a negative impact on Montezuma’s cross country runners as they were in a racing mood on Thursday, Sept. 11.

We had lots of really good results tonight,” said Coach Kevin Gartman. “We had career personal records and season-bests. And some significant cuts from our last time on this course two years ago – even with the heat!”

Ava Anderson shined with a second-place finish in the middle school girls race.
