On Monday, January 11, Brydon signed his National Letter of Intent to run cross country and track at Dakota Wesleyan University, an NAIA college located in Mitchell, South Dakota.

In his career at MHS Brydon earned two All-SICL first team nominations, finished as high as third in the conference individually, and leaves Montezuma with the third-fastest boys 5K time (18:14) in the last 20 years.

Additionally, Brydon graduates with top times on 8 different courses that the Montezuma team has competed in.

Brydon’s senior leadership helped spur the 2020 boys cross country team to a runner-up conference finish, and fifth-place state qualifying meet finish, the strongest placings in the last 30 years of school history.
