HLV’s powerful girls softball team rolled past the Bravettes 12-0 in four innings on Tuesday, June 11 in Montezuma.
The Bravettes, who have been hitting pretty well, were held to one hit, a single by Mya Smothers.
On the positive side, Montezuma was guilty of just two errors.
Syd Burgess pitched the first two innings for Montezuma. She allowed 5 hits and 4 runs, all earned. She walked five and struck out two.
Kam Schmidt and Madison Van Zee each pitche an inning. Combined, they gave up 8 runs, 7 of them earned.
Montezuma fell to 4-5, while HLV climbed to 8-3.
