Sept. 18-22 is homecoming week at Montezuma, with a variety of activities and events leading up to the rivalry football game against BGM on Friday.
It’s a beach theme this year, with the theme “Riding the Braves Way to Victory.”
The homecoming royalty has already been chosen and photographed, with coronation of the queen and king taking place on Thursday at Braves Night.
The Lip Sync returns on Tuesday.
The homecoming pep rally and parade will take place Friday afternoon. Kickoff for the big border war against BGM will be at 7 p.m. at Badger-Gabriel Field.

Dress Up Days – HoCo 2023
Monday – Drifting off to see – pajama day.
Tuesday – Forget your beach bag at home. – anything but a backpack day.
Wednesday – Keep floating your way to victory. It’s water safety day. Life jackets, floaties, goggles, etc.
Thursday – Just Keep Swimming – with class dress up days:
Seniors – sea people
Juniors – jellyfish
Sophomores – starfish
Freshmen – fish
Teachers – turtles
Middle school – manatees
elementary – guppies.
Friday – Luau – Blue and White Day.
