Hometown Holiday: Treat for the senses

Montezuma will be alive with the sights, the sounds, the smells and the taste of Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 4.

That’s the date for the community’s annual Hometown Holiday.

The schedule is below, but before we present that, you are invited to stroll around the square and enjoy the specials and tree displays in all the shops.

8 to 10 a.m. – in Memorial Hall – Visit and photo op with Santa. A breakfast buffet will be served for a free will donation. And, there will be cookie decorating.

8 a.m. to noon – at Vivarium – A hot cocoa special.

9 a.m. to 2 p.m. – at Montezuma Floral & More – Wine tasting.

9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – at United Methodist Church – The Cookie Walk.

10 to 11 a.m. – Montezuma Public Library – Children’s story hour and letters to Santa.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Montezuma Floral & More – Wreath making class (advance registration required).

11 a.m. to noon – Montezuma Public Library – Conservation Christmas stories and crafts.

1 to 2 p.m. – United Methodist Church – Sounds of the Season.

4:30 to 7:30 p.m. – First Evangelical Presbyterian Church – Soup Supper.
