Basketball post-season awards continue to roll in for Montezuma seniors Mia Boulton and Masin Shearer.
Shearer has been honored with an all-substate region 5 berth in Class 1A. There are eight players on this team. This is from the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association.
Boulton also has been honored on the region 3 all-substate team by the IBCA.
Earlier, she was given a similar honor by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.
Shearer has been saluted by the school as the 13th member of the Montezuma boys 1,000 Point Club. He is the school’s 11th all-time scorer with 1,036 points.
