I’ve already told you how special the E. Wayne Cooley Scholarship Award is that Elise Boulton of Montezuma will be receiving.
You can watch her receive the award live on statewide television!
Boulton will be honored at halftime of the Class 5A state championship game, which is scheduled for a 7 p.m. opening tip on Friday, March 5, at Wells Fargo Arena.
Elise won’t be finished after she receives the award.
It’s the tradition of the Cooley Award winner to escort all of the individual award winners on Friday night. Those include the Jack North MVP, and the Character Counts Coach of the Year.
It will be a special night for the Iowa Girl, our Elise!
