The Bravettes faced another tough squad in Iowa Valley.
The 8th grade team started the night off with an up and down performance and a comeback that came up short. This group has so much potential and have moments when they do amazing things on the court. Currently, the greatest struggle is staying up and not letting a few errors control their mindsets. They will continue to focus on limiting their errors and working for every point. With only a few games left, I know they want to finish the season strong. The 7th graders faced a few good servers and also struggled with maintaining their composure. In the end they made too many errors to walk away with a win, but they will use this game as a learning opportunity for the rest of the season. This group has some fight in their tanks, and now they need to leave it all on the court and enjoy the final three games. Overall, I am proud of the girls, they show up every day and work hard. I wish I had a magic wand that would take away nerves and fear, but that is just part of growing in sports and activities. As long as we grow from challenges, we will be successful. |
