NEW SHARON – In the junior high boys ‘B’ game on Tuesday, Dec. 3, the Braves were 28-14 winners.
We controlled the tempo well. We played a little faster than North Mahaska wanted to play. We pressed a little and that got them out of rhythm.
I thought that Carter Mickalek, David Rose and Bryson Stockman did a good job putting pressure on the ball. Peyton Minner again did a good job rebounding as well as Holland and Spencer Ross.
The boys did a great job staying in good defensive position and not allowing much to get inside. Offensively we did a great job driving to the basket. Rose, Michalek, Ross, and Holland all drove to the basket well. This put a lot of pressure on their defense.
We pushed in transition well as well as attacking the offensive glass to get some good looks right at the basket.
