When the Montezuma junior high football team snapped the ball against Baxter, it was like lifting the led on a box full of jackrabbits.

Backs headed every which way, supported by sturdy blocking up front.

The Braves were 54-12 winners over Baxter on a sun-splashed Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Badger-Gabriel Field.
