Thursday – September 25th vs English Valleys
8th: 25-23, 20-25, 13-25
7th: 25-12, 16-25, 25-21

The girls were finally home again, up against a smaller EV squad, but they started strong.

The 8th-grade team had several setups and moved so well in the first set. EV had a few strong servers who were able to take the Bravettes out of their flow, and they pulled away late in the 2nd set.
The third set was dominated by the Bears, but the girls played hard.

This group is so much fun to work with. They are doing things on the court that are fun to see. We had a few blocks tonight, and they even played hard on several out-of-system balls.

I am excited to see them back in action next week.

The 7th-grade team was on fire with strong serving in the first set. Teagan Sutherland served 16 points in a row to help the Bravettes secure a set-one victory.

The Bears woke up in the 2nd set, and the girls struggled to keep pace.

However, a strong team showing in the 3rd set, where the girls had to battle at the end.

It is great to see the improvement in so many of the girls. We still have our JH VB moments, but I am so proud of the way these girls work together and are starting to understand so much more about the game.
