With one match under their belts, the Bravettes showed some improvement against an experienced BGM squad on Thursday, Sept. 7.
The scores from the first two 8th grade sets do not show how well the girls played. They were setting up almost every time, playing on the net, and passing well.
However, too many errors allowed the Bears to pull away.
The 7th grade squad was confident, consistent and able to put together some amazing rallies.
Both teams are improving consistently and I am excited to watch them progress throughout the season.
Sept. 7 vs BGM
8th grade – 16-25, 16-25, 2-25
7th grade – 25-21, 25-8, 7-25
