For the past few matches we have been on the good side of playing a team for the second time.
However, this time BGM was able to get past the 7th grade Bravettes on Thursday, Oct. 3.
The girls seemed out of their elements and struggled to put it all together. BGM improved quite a bit and it was hard for the girls to adjust and get back into playing our game.
This last match does not define the 7th grade group as they have improved so much and were an absolute joy to be around. I hope the girls work hard in the off-season and are ready for all of their other activities as well.
The 8th grade squad did not want their last game to be a loss, so they came out hot and stayed hot. With solid serving and team play, the girls dominated throughout the games.
A few lapses occurred, but that is all part of the process. I am so proud of how much this group has grown in the past two seasons. They have worked on a lot and I know that they can accomplish even more as long as they stay focused and work hard.
BGM beat Montezuma 7th grade 3-0.
Montezuma 8th grade beat BGM 3-0.
