| By Megan Carlson Junior High Volleyball Coach Heading over to HLV with a limited squad, some sick girls, and facing one of the best teams in the conference is a challenge. The girls had many moments where they were able to do some great things, but they were unable to bounce back from strong serving and a team that did not quit. One thing we work on in junior high athletics is developing grit and in volleyball it can be very hard to put everything together. The girls work very hard in practice, but they are young and playing teams that have played volleyball for several years. We need to focus on improving and not letting these challenges decide our fate. I know this team is capable of so much more and I hope they can find it in themselves to fight back and improve on the court. This will be a time of growth and great things will be heading our way, once we can put things together. |
