Traveling for 40 minutes, going to a gym without air conditioning, and playing extra sets was a challenge that brought out some great volleyball from the Bravettes.

The 8th-grade squad kicked the night off with some stellar volleys that extended points and allowed for some great setups.

The girls had too many serving errors, but they were able to respond and step up against a strong serving team that rotated a lot.

This group is playing very well together right now, and I am a little sad we only have one more game together. I know they want to finish strong, so I am excited to see them step up the net and play!

The 7th-grade squad had rocky serving and a lack of communication in the first set but were able to put the serves together and get after it in the second set.

It was close in the 3rd, where both teams had some solid plays. The girls did not let easy balls hit the ground, and their growth as players was amazing.

I know they will focus for the next few days and fire up for the last match of the year!
