The Bravettes were flat on Tuesday, Sept. 17, against two very strong serving teams from Lynnville-Sully.

The 8th graders struggled to get things going with a team that did not miss on serving. We made mistakes that we have worked past, and we will continue to work to improve from these moments. We did have some great moments, but we could not put it all together to get the game closer.

The 7th grade team played an extremely talented and tall squad. We did not let easy balls hit the ground and worked for a lot of points that other teams would have given up on. However, the margin was too much, and we could not get momentum on our side.

Junior high is a time for learning how to compete, be good teammates, and work through challenges. I am proud of our girls because I know the sun will come up tomorrow, and they will be ready to get better. This is a fun group to coach, and I am excited to watch them grow from this challenge.
