SIGOURNEY – Montezuma’s junior high baseball team didn’t get the result it was shooting for at the conference tournament in Sigourney.

But, it was a productive summer for Coach Cal Smith and the Braves. They learned baseball, they picked up some wins, and showed they should develop as varsity players.
