BGM led 10-8 after one quarter, but expanded that lead with a 17-7 second period.
Jack Brenner scored six points and four rebounds for the Braves.
Andrew Bryan had three points, and Gavin Cooper, Ryan Cheney and Camden Michalek had three each.
Cooper led the Braves with six rebounds.
Jacob Hutchcraft had two assists for Montezuma and Sawyer Tindle had two rebounds.
The Braves were guilty of 16 turnovers, to just six by the Bears.
