With no girls games played Tuesday night, the JV boys took over the 6 p.m. time slot in the north gym and the Braves fared well, scoring a 40-7 win over Colfax-Mingo.
Briar Simpson led Montezuma with 12 points.
Kohen Holland had 9 while David Rose and Blake Smith had 6 points each.
Montezuma led 32-17 in rebounds. The Braves helped to force 23 turnovers, while making just six themselves.
