Montezuma beat English Valleys on the boards – and on the scoreboard – in junior varsity boys basketball Monday, Jan. 20.
The final score was 63-36 for the Braves, who also had a 39-24 margin in rebounds, an area of play they have been working on.
Three Braves scored in double figures and one of them, Colton Benson, had a double-double, with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Cameron Johnson scored 15 for Montezuma, and Gavin Strong poured in 14 points.
