JV girls hoopsters push for success

By Coach Kevin Gartman

It has been a tough year in terms of wins and losses as the JV girls basketball team has fallen in three games by three or less points.

With the current record at 4-7, and six games left as either stand-alone JV games or quads, the team is still in position to pull off a strong finish to the year.

As the year has progressed, the JV girls have become stronger communicators on the court and have been consistently developing confidence in themselves and their abilities.

All of the hard work they’ve been putting in came together in the game vs the Williamsburg freshmen the other night.

I am very proud of the JV girls as they remain upbeat, have a lot of fun playing the game, and never lack hustle or effort.

The remaining JV schedule is as follows:

1/18 @ Moravia
1/21 Colo-Nesco
1/25 Lynnville-Sully
1/26 HLV
1/29 @ BGM
2/9 @ Grundy Center
