MARENGO – Montezuma’s junior varsity girls basketball team got the week off to a rousing start with a 46-8 victory over Iowa Valley on Monday evening, Nov. 28.
The Bravettes led 16-2 after one quarter, and 22-3 at halftime.
Claire Erselius led a balanced Montezuma scoring attack wih 10 points. She also had five steals and two assists.
Jordan Ranfeld scored 9 points.
Ashlee Eilander contributed eight points and five rebounds.
The Bravettes shot .422 from the field and led 17-8 in rebounds.
