The Montezuma JV girls won their 14th game of the season on Tuesday night at home against a conference opponent in BGM.
After a tight first quarter which resulted in the Bravettes taking a 10-6 lead, the Bravettes tightened up on defense, executed well on offense, and cruised to a 45-12 victory.
Madison Johannes played a complete game, scored 13 points, recording 6 steals, as well as totaling 4 assists.
Korrinn Kehoe and Kallie Robison did a nice job rebounding with 7 and 6, respectively. Robison also scored 6 points.
Kierstyn Price scored six points and had 3 steals.
Alyssa Cline had six points. Ashlyn Krousie scored 5 points and had 2 deflections.
The Bravetes shot .383 from the field against BGM’s .167. The Bravettes also led 27-20 in rebounds.
The win pushes Montezuma to 14-0 on the season as they play their final game against a tough Williamsburg team on Thursday night, Feb. 6.
