Kailey Jones, a high school senior and a former Bravette, recently became the all-time leading rebounder at her high school.
Kailey went past the 710 mark in career rebounds, which had been the record.
Jones is a senior at AHSTW High School in Avoca, located about 90 miles west of Des Moines.
Kailey is the daughter of Darin and Kris Jones. He’s a former principal of Montezuma Elementary School. Now, he’s superintendent of the AHSTW district schools.
Kailey is a 5-11 forward. She is averaging 18.5 points per game and 12.9 rebounds for a Class 2A team that is 15-6 on the season. Jones is shooting at a .521 clip from the field, has 45 total steals and has blocked 30 shots.
