Another family-oriented activity took place in Montezuma during the COVID-19 break in school classes.
It was the “Bear Scavenger Hunt.”
The idea was a national one, aimed at kids who miss school and their teachers.
It was based on the “Going On A Bear Hunt” book.

Folks were encouraged to put a bear (or bears) in windows of their homes or businesses, or on the porch.
Locally, many of the Bears followed a Montezuma blue & white theme.
Kids and parents were surprised by how many they found.
Photographer Allyson Fillmore found some of them, which she shares here.
