The first Junior High Volleyball game always has the girls on high alert, nervous and ready to go, with so many things to learn.

The 8th graders faced off against a tall and talented L-S team and were thrown off a bit in the first set. However, the girls focused in and were able to get the second set and finished close in the extra points of the third set.

This group has grown so much in just two years, and I know that they will be able to do so much more as the year continues.

The 7th-grade girls were so nervous, and that showed in their first set as well. They fought back and dropped a close extra point in the second set, before falling in the final set.

This group showed some great things on the court and learned a few more things. I know that if they continue practicing and working together, they will be able to compete with so many different teams.

Overall, it was a solid first night of JH VB. We had many high moments and a few that I know we will respond to and do better in the future.

So many things are happening on the court for the girls right now. Soon, things will start to slow down for them, and they will be able to better showcase all of the great attributes they have!
