Montezuma librarian Christine Grimm encouraged Montezuma Lions Club members to utilize the library’s free e-books resources, and to take advantage of the inter-library system.
Through the loan system, Grimm said, books not in inventory here can usually be obtained from another participating library, at no charge.
Grimm was guest speaker at the Lions’ Feb. 27 meeting at Montezuma Country Club.
Grimm reviewed the programs, activities and services offered by the library. Among those are several popular ones introduced by Grimm since she became librarian in October 2019.
Grimm said “I love my job!” and shared statistics that show the library is being utilized by many citizens. Check-outs of books and other resources average 800 to 900 per month.
