In celebration of the club’s 75th anniversary this year, the Montezuma Lions Club will be serving free cake and ice cream at the community “Booster Bash” on Thursday evening, Aug. 25.
Club president Eddie Pierson said it is to show appreciation to the community for its 75 years of support. Present and former members in the audience will also be recognized.
Pierson will speak on behalf of the club.
Some print copies of club history will be on display.
