Dear Readers,
This week is the 119thD consecutive week of “Looking Back” which brings our readers a snapshot of what was going on in Montezuma 50 years ago. Many have commented favorably regarding the pictures that go with the column.
Roger Allen deserves all the credit for these photos. Roger researches the negatives at the Historical Society and then takes them home where he “magically” remakes them in order that we can put them in the newspaper.
To be done correctly, it takes a great deal of time. Sometimes Roger must either lighten or darken the photos. Being the perfectionist that he is, it takes time and he does this without compensation.
Yes, it is a labor of love for him but please take time to let him know how much you appreciate his work.
THANKS ROGER!
