The quality of Lydia Singleton’s art work can freeze you where you stand.
You have to study it, to become one with its depth and detail. You feel compelled to commend it.
A national judging panel did just that.
The 15-year-old from Montezuma received some professional affirmation last week when one of her works placed 10th in its division at the Assemblies of God National Fine Arts Festival in Orlando, Florida.
Lydia is a daughter of Brad and Dianne Singleton. He is the lead pastor at Community Hope Church.
Brad expressed pride in his daughter.
“I would still be proud of her even if she got dead last,” Brad wrote in a Facebook post.
“But I’m so grateful to see her sharing her beautiful gift of art with the world!”
