May is exciting for the Braves and Bravettes track teams.
On Tuesday, May 2nd they competed in the SICL meet at BGM with results to be printed in next week’s edition of The Record.
Both MHS squads will head to the Rick Wanamaker Relays at Iowa Valley of Marengo on Thursday, May 4, before returning home to host the annual Darrell Brand Relays on Monday, May 8th.
The State Qualifying Meet will be held at BGM on Thursday, May 11th. Runners, jumpers and throwers who qualify for the State Track Meet will perform on the Blue Oval at Drake Stadium on May 18-20.
