Bravette forwards Stephanie Stripling, Janel Burgess and Laine Lundy all scored more than 60 points in a single game. Stripling, who went on to play D1 hoops at Pittsburgh, had 63. Burgess scored 64 twice as a Bravette before becoming a standout for the ISU Cyclones. As a sophomore at DRM she scorched Eddyville for 79 points.
Lundy holds the school record at 73 points in a single game. What, no Sandy Van Cleave? Sandy’s high game was 57 while playing on a very balanced forward court all four years.
