THE ANSWER TO LAST WEEK’S SPORTS TRIVIA: Jim Arendt, MHS ’60, is the school’s first 1,000-point scorer. He currently ranks 8th on the list with 1,069 points. His son, Jamie, is 5th on the list with 1,196 career points. Jim played his first three years in the old junior high gym before moving into the “new gym” his senior year, 1959-60.
Jim had three different head basketball coaches in his four-year varsity career; Bob Neighbors, followed by Del Stamp and Lew Lundy.
