THE ANSWER TO LAST WEEK’S SPORTS TRIVIA: In the last 15 years, just five Bravettes basketball players have been named to an academic all-state team. Vanna Bushong was the first one so honored in 2006. Dana Lowry, 2009, Courtney Petersen and Katelyn Gregory, both 2014, and Katie Maschmann in 2016, are the most current student-athletes named.
It is quite the achievement to do it on the court and in the classroom. Congratulations ladies, we are proud of you! Contestants Mandy Robison, Jenny Hobbs, Buddy and Marie Boulton all had some correct, but this week’s winner is the math teacher – Allison Pargeon!
THIS WEEK SPORTS TRIVIA QUESTION: The 2021 MHS basketball season has seen some historic individual achievement. Cole Watts and Elise Boulton both scored their 1,000th career point this month while Trey Shearer continues his torrid scoring pace, doing the unthinkable, scoring 2,000 career points and counting! Can you name the only other boys basketball season when two Braves basketball players each scored their 1,000th career point?
