THIS WEEK’S SPORTS TRIVIA: Two-sport athletes in the same season? Rare, maybe in the spring with track & golf, but fall? A combination of football and cross-country is almost unheard of. In the fall of ’68 Darrell Ferneau caught TD passes from Kenny Hopkins on Friday night then competed in XC meets on Saturday mornings. Mark VerSteegt and Jack Morrissey did two fall sports in the ‘70s, but who is the only Brave to place in the top 10 of a XC meet and score a touchdown on the same day?
