Mia Boulton, a freshman at the University of Iowa from Montezuma, is majoring in journalism and mass communications. She also is exploring a possible double major in sports media.
She works for The Daily Iowan as a sports reporter.
Mia has been a photographer for her hometown paper, The Record, as well as the online Montezuma Magazine. She also started her own photography business this summer.
Mia is the daughter of Buddy and Marie Boulton.
