Mia scores 11 in ‘elite’ all-star game

CEDAR RAPIDS – About the time most of us were settling in to watch the Hawkeye women play LSU for the NCAA national championship, Montezuma’s Mia Boulton and some of the best graduated high school talent in the state were playing against each other.

The occasion was the Iowa Girls Coaches Association all-star games on Sunday, April 2, at Kirkwood Community College.

Boulton was a member of the Class 1A “elite” team, which took on the Class 2A elite squad.

Boulton scored 11 points in the game!
