Coach Joel Grier (left), MHS ’67, along with fellow Coach Fred Lorensen, were honored at halftime of the PCM -Montezuma boys’ basketball game played at Monroe on Thursday, January 4.
Grier and Lorensen coached boys’ basketball together for nearly five decades, with ten State Tournament appearances, including a State Championship in 2004.
Grier and his wife, Jacki (Rabenold) are both retired and live in Monroe.
