PELLA – Montezuma senior Trey Shearer has been named Class 1A boys player of the year by the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association.
Previously, Shearer and Montezuma senior Elise Boulton also were named to the IBCA’s academic all-state teams, which cover all classes.
