National title, 3rd and 5th places, too!

INDIANAPOLIS – Montezuma’s FFA students won another national championship and two top-5 finishes at the National FFA Convention last week.

The Ag Communications team included Brady Boulton, Broox Stockman, Luke Erselius, Claire Erselius, and Peyton Tindle. These juniors earned first place and were crowned National Champions.

Farm Business Management team of Bryson Stockman, Ellen Cook, Madison Cheney, and Krista Cheney. As a team, they earned 3rd place overall while Bryson Stockman took home 3rd place individually.

Conduct of Meetings team included: Vivian Cook, Sydnee Burgess, Leah Urfer, Gracie Wilson, Rylee Thompson, Rett Pargeon, Easton Hudnut, Letisia Wilson, and Annaleese Kercheval. These sophomores made it to the semi final round and placed 5th overall at Nationals.

The students expressed thanks to advisors Rick Swenson and Hannah Garland for all the time and effort they dedicate to these students and the FFA program.

The school administration wrote: “Congratulations- we are so proud of you all!”
