Netters sweep in getting 7th victory

GARWIN – The volleyball Bravettes, playing in their first regular season match after competing in four tournaments, swept past Green Mountain-Garwin on Tuesday, Sept. 9.

The win lifted Montezuma to 7-8 on the season, while the Wolverines tumbled to 1-6.

The Bravettes showed strength in all areas, especially serving, where they were successful on 91.5 percent of their attempts.

The match also was the first this season for versatile front line performer Lily Ferry, who contributed 8 kills and 6 digs.
