By Al Rabenold

The MHS Hall of Fame committee, under the leadership of Montezuma Community Schools Activities Director Tim Burgess, is planning to induct a new class in late August of 2022.

The first HOF class was inducted in 2016 (separate story).

The second class was inducted in 2017 prior to a varsity football game. The ceremony was held in the junior high gym, now the fine arts auditorium.

Missing from the inductees’ photo is Larry Baethke, (’77). He and his son Tyler, had to exit early in order to conduct football pre-game drills.

And yes the Braves won! The Hall of Fame inductees were feted again at halftime of the football game on Badger-Gabriel Field.
